CTA2Membership in the World Semiconductor Council (WSC) is open to associations representing semiconductor makers in nations or regions which support the objectives of the WSC and who have significant semiconductor industries or markets within their borders. The WSC supports free and open markets. As a result, membership is only open to nations or regions who either have zero tariffs on semiconductor or a plan for expeditions tariff elimination.

Each member association appoints delegates as members of the WSC based upon size of the industry in their nation or region with up to a maximum of six delegates. Those appointed are company CEO, semiconductor sector president or other appropriate representative of top management.
